The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new, European wide law which replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in the UK, effective from 25th May 2018. Information is stored electronically and securely for customers, suppliers and employees, with limited role specific access by GB Construction Supplies Ltd.
HOW LONG WE KEEP THE INFORMATION
Information is kept for the duration of the business relationship and/or a minimum of the legal requirement, currently 6 full years in the case of customers and suppliers. Employee information may be kept longer for insurance and pensions purposes.
YOUR RIGHT OF ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION
You have the right of access to your personal information held by us without charge. You may request the removal of personal information from our database, subject to legal and contractual requirements, by contacting GB Construction at the above address.
